I've managed to solve a problem on my Winnebago LeSharo by putting in a fuel pump from a 1985 Honda Accord.

Of course the BIG hack was to have the guys at greasel.com convert my diesel LeSharo to run VEGETABLE OIL ;)

Will probably put a Supercharger on said LeSharo in the future. I read the M62 Magnuson Supercharger's are on 80's model GMC b3800 engines. Might be able to find one in a junk yard for less than the 2k that the new one seem to be.

Tried to exchange speakers from '85 Accord to '92 Accord (needs 4Ohm 30 Watt speakers that don't have the bass crackling) (nope. they don't fit).

Tried various other swaps and additions. Pretty much all failed.

Still intend to put the rack I took off my '80 Eagle onto my '92 Accord. Need some nuts embedded in rubber gromets to do the job.

Need to added the license plate holder taken from the '85 Accord to the tail end of the LeSharo.

Took the radio from the '80 Eagle and put it into the LeSharo which seems to be pretty good except it sometimes doesn't turn on properly (possibly a problem with the on/off switch of the radio).

Added a hose to my air intake on my LeSharo which seems to make it a bit quieter and have somewhat more horsepower. Need to use a better (more of a thermal barrier) hose and paint it with reflexive paint or cover it in aluminum foil. Also need to add a scoop to the end of the hose to get a bit of rammed air. Hopeful I can add K&N air filters soon. Was thinking of trying to use the body of vacuum cleaner (turned so the bottom faces the front of the vehicle) with a screen on the front facing side as the scoop. hopefully I can figure a way to mount it so I get lot's of forced air just from going down the street.

Lot's of other wild ideas to come. Some might even work.

Later,

Jeff

First Post

This is my first post on my new blog.
